The Story

Not a travel series. A transformation.

In the Steps of Saint Paul is not simply a travel series about biblical places. It is a story of transformation unfolding across the Roman world — a man once certain he was defending God, confronted by Christ, remade by grace, and sent across roads, seas, cities, prisons, courts, storms, and empires with a message that continues to move long after the story reaches Rome.

A man who was certain he was serving God is interrupted, transformed, and sent into a world he once tried to control.

Damascus is the centre. Every chapter after it is an echo.

The Journey

Twelve chapters, one transformation

This is not a travel series about biblical places. It is a story of transformation unfolding across the Roman world — with Damascus at its centre, echoed in every chapter that follows.

Saul of Tarsus: A Man Certain of God

Who Saul was before Christ — zeal, conviction, and a dangerous certainty that he was serving God.

The Temple of Artemis, the economics of religion, and a gospel that confronts systems, not just individuals.

How We Do It Differently

The Every Tongue Approach

One journey, many voices. We film the journey once — and let it speak in many tongues.

Most documentaries are filmed once, for one audience, in one language. This one is built from the ground up to travel further — a new model for Christian media at scale.

One expedition · Two units · Presenters from many language groups

Unit A · Presenter to Camera

The first unit — the 'A-roll'. The presenter leads you through: standups, walk-and-talks, reflection on the ground. And not one presenter but many — we envision as many as thirty, each drawn from a different language group we serve.

+

Unit B · The World He Walked

The second unit — the 'B-roll'. Roads, ruins, ports, and landscapes: the places themselves, filmed presenter-neutral so they become a reusable library shared by every version.

On the same expedition, presenters from different language groups film side by side — many editions from one journey. And because the world is captured presenter-neutral, we can always retrace our steps later to add new tongues.

One expedition can seed years of content across many languages. We believe that is a truer stewardship of every mile travelled — and every gift given to make it possible.

“One journey, told in every tongue — for every nation, tribe, people, and language.”

The pattern in Scripture
  • Revelation 7:9 “from every nation, tribe, people and language”
  • Acts 2:6 “each one heard them in his own language”
  • Philippians 2:11 “every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord”
  • Matthew 28:19 “make disciples of all nations”

Made with Care

Biblically grounded. Historically honest.

Scripture first

Scripture remains the primary narrative authority. History and travel-writing serve the text — never the reverse.

Real places, real scholarship

Filmed on location and checked against modern archaeology and biblical scholarship. We are clear about what is text, what is history, and what is tradition.

Honest about reconstruction

Where we picture the ancient world, we say so. Reconstruction is shown as reconstruction, never presented as fact.

Grace over spectacle

No sensationalism. Paul is not a superhero and Saul is not a cartoon villain — only a man remade by grace.

Some scenes are visual reconstructions, created to help you imagine the world of the New Testament — and always shown as such.

Be Part of It

Help carry the journey to every tongue

This is an ambitious undertaking — and it is built to be shared. There is a place for you in it.
